ADRA Ingathering for Ethiopia
On September 15, the students of Suðurhlíðarskóli participated in an ADRA Ingathering for Ethiopia. In the weeks leading up to the event, students learned about Ethiopia, its people, culture, and the challenges many children face in accessing education.
At 5:00 p.m., our students gathered at school, excited and ready to make a difference. They went door to door collecting donations to support educational opportunities for children in Ethiopia.
This event was not only a way to help children in Ethiopia, but also a valuable experience for our students. It taught them that each of us can make a difference and be part of something meaningful and good. Through their participation, they experienced the joy of helping others and serving their global community.
We would like to thank everyone who supported this initiative. We also warmly invite our church members to join this project and support the children of Ethiopia. Every contribution, no matter how small, can help provide educational opportunities, hope, and a brighter future.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference and share God's love in a practical way with those in need.
